School Caretaker
Haringey, North London
Contract:
Immediate start until Summer, with potential to become permanent

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a friendly and supportive school in Haringey, North London on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent depending on performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school site
• General site maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met
• Cleaning and upkeep of indoor and outdoor areas
• Setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events
• Supporting with deliveries and basic site logistics

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous caretaking, site management, or maintenance experience (preferably in a school or similar setting)
• Good practical and DIY skills
• A proactive, flexible, and dependable attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong awareness of health & safety procedures

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Until Summer, with potential to become permanent
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
