welcoming and supportive SEN school in Croydon who are looking to appoint an experienced and highly organised
Office Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school administrator or office professional who is confident managing the day-to-day running of a busy school office and has strong knowledge of
BromCom school management systems.
The RoleAs Office Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school's administration and front office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the school office.
- Using BromCom confidently and effectively to manage school administration, attendance, pupil records and reporting.
- Acting as a key point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and external professionals.
- Supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership team with administration.
- Managing school records, correspondence and documentation.
- Overseeing attendance administration and following up on concerns.
- Supporting admissions, pupil data and new starter processes.
- Coordinating appointments, meetings and school communications.
- Ensuring safeguarding and confidentiality procedures are followed at all times.
- Supporting wider administrative processes across the school as required.
The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in a school office or educational setting.
- Essential: Proven experience using BromCom school management systems.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy school environment.
- Experience dealing professionally with parents, pupils, staff and external agencies.
- A strong understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection.
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working within an SEN or specialist school environment would be highly desirable.
