Person Specification
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice within EYFS or KS1
  • Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and/or Key Stage 1 National Curriculum
  • Passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and support children of all abilities
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
  • Values professional development and collaborative working
  • Skilled in assessment, planning, and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Ambitious and eager to contribute to the wider life and development of the school
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across EYFS or KS1
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that support all learners
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support enrichment opportunities for pupils
