Early Years Teacher Location: Camden, London
Hours: Full-time (term time)
Hi, I’m Ava, an Education Recruitment Consultant, and I’m currently working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Camden who are looking for an Early Years Teacher to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports all pupils
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress, maintaining accurate learning journals
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development alongside their early academic skills
- Use a range of teaching strategies, including play-based learning, to engage and inspire pupils
- Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of all learners
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver high-quality provision
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers
- Contribute to planning meetings, staff development and wider school life
- Maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom environment, including displays and resources
- Support children with routines, transitions and daily activities
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times
Person Specification: Experience- Experience teaching within an Early Years setting is essential
Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
Knowledge & Skills- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Knowledge of child development and early learning strategies
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, staff and families
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
