Primary Teacher – Southwark
September 2026 Start

Looking for a primary school where teaching feels rewarding, ideas are welcomed, and no two days are ever the same?
Create Education is working with a lively, inclusive primary school in Southwark that’s on the lookout for a Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a school full of personality — warm staff, curious pupils, and a real sense of community running through everything they do.

About the school
This is the kind of school where children are known as individuals and encouraged to be confident, kind, and curious. Learning is important, but so is creativity, laughter, and helping children grow into well-rounded young people.
From EYFS through to KS2, pupils are supported to take pride in their learning, build resilience, and enjoy school. Staff work closely together, share ideas freely, and support each other through the busy (and brilliant) moments that come with primary teaching.

About the role
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who brings enthusiasm, warmth, and a genuine love for teaching into the classroom. Someone who enjoys creating engaging lessons, building strong relationships, and helping children believe in themselves.
In this role, you will:
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Support pupils of all abilities to make progress and feel proud of their achievements
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom where children feel safe and motivated
  • Work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive team
  • Take part in whole-school life and contribute your ideas
This role would suit both ECTs and experienced teachers. Strong mentoring, coaching, and professional development are built into the school culture.
Who they’re looking for
You’ll be a great fit if you:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Are passionate about primary education
  • Enjoy motivating and inspiring young learners
  • Value teamwork and positive relationships
  • Are reflective, open to feedback, and keen to develop
What the school offers
  • A welcoming, supportive staff team
  • Leadership that listens and values teacher voice
  • High-quality mentoring and ongoing CPD
  • A strong focus on staff wellbeing and work–life balance
  • A chance to make a real difference in children’s lives
