About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced teacher who can plan and deliver high-quality, individualised learning for pupils with diverse needs. You will work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a variety of SEN profiles
- Support pupils with autism, including understanding sensory needs, communication differences and social development
- Work with children with a range of additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and learning disabilities
- Create and implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external agencies
- Maintain a safe, positive and structured classroom environment
Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong knowledge of autism and SEN needs
- Experience working within a specialist or inclusive education setting
- Excellent communication and behaviour-support skills
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing
