A secondary school in Essex is seeking to appoint a qualified English Teacher to join its team from September 2025. The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that support student progress and engagement
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Assess and monitor student performance in line with school policies
- Take part in whole-school life, including extracurricular and enrichment opportunities
The successful candidate will:- Must hold PGCE/QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in English or a related subject
- Have experience teaching English at secondary level
- Possess strong subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum expectations
- Be committed to enabling all students to achieve their potential, regardless of starting point
