You will be joining a collaborative and well-established English department where resources, ideas, and support are shared openly. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students, build confidence in the classroom, and bring English to life through engaging and creative lessons.

The Role:

• Full-time English Teacher role starting August 2026, with flexibility to consider 4 days or job share for the right candidate
• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate
• Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
• Long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
• Someone who can deliver engaging lessons and build positive relationships with students
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A teacher who wants to make a real impact within a supportive school community
• Passion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning
