About the Role

A high achieving and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The role is available for an immediate or near immediate start and offers a clear pathway to a permanent position.
You will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence, excellent behaviour standards and a supportive leadership team.
The Science department is well resourced, collaborative and focused on delivering high quality teaching and learning that inspires students and raises attainment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who has the following qualities
Holds Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
Has experience teaching Science at secondary level including Biology Chemistry Physics or Combined Science
Can deliver engaging and well structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Has strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student achievement
Is a team player who contributes positively to department and whole school culture
Is committed to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes
