Therapeutic Education Practitioner – 1:1 Support - Newham


Create Education are looking to speak with enthusiastic and experienced Therapeutic Education Practitioners for some exciting opportunities working with SEN students in an OFSTED Rated Outstanding Secondary School in the London Borough of Newham.


The school is a truly outstanding Secondary Specialist SEN School in Newham that caters for and works with KS3 and KS4 students between with mixed learning levels and is a provision for SEN students. The successful Therapeutic Education Practitioner would ideally be experienced with or willing to work with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other kinds of challenging behaviour. The role will be working 1:1 and within small intervention groups with students who need extra support throughout the day. This role will involve supporting students who can show verbally and sometimes physically challenging behaviour. Experience with this kind of student and in this kind of environment will be crucial to being considered for this role.


The role is a permanent role for an ASAP start.
