Are you a recent Graduate looking for to gain experience working within Education?
 
Are you an aspiring Teacher looking for a long-term role in schools, or have ambitions within schools?

If you are, we have an OFSTED Rated Good School in the London Borough of Islington looking to speak with energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Teaching Assistants for opportunities working in mainstream schools. The school will be looking for highly caring and enthusiastic teaching assistants with the willingness to work hard in their career.
 
You could have graduated in any discipline, but the school are particularly interested in Experienced teaching assistants. Also, anyone who has graduated in any degree relevant with Primary or Secondary education. Any aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists or Behaviour Mentors are encouraged to apply.   
 
Job Details – Learning support Assistant - Islington
  • Assist with the coordination of pupils during extracurricular activities such as lunch breaks and revision sessions.
  • Guide and monitor pupil progress to identify areas that require improvement.
  • Support the emotional, physical, and social development of pupils.
  • Prepare classrooms prior to lessons; they also clean up afterwards.
  • Help teachers in preparing materials that meet the development requirement of children.
  • Organize and supervise pupils during project and sporting activities.
Person Specification - Learning support Assistant – Islington
  • Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals.
  • Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
  • Active listening skills
  • Understanding and sensitivity towards children
  • Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class.
