About the Role

We are looking for a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in North London. This position is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or current Teaching Assistants who are looking to increase their earnings and progress within the education sector.
In this role, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Ensure all students remain engaged and complete assigned tasks
  • Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Confidence leading a class independently
  • A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach
  • A genuine interest in education and pursuing a career in teaching
  • A degree (graduates are highly encouraged to apply) or relevant experience
  • A great sense of humour and a strong personality, with the ability to build rapport and engage students effectively
