Help Create a Safe & Welcoming Learning EnvironmentSmile Education is looking for reliable, hardworking and dedicated School Cleaners to support a number of friendly primary schools across our partner locations. If you take pride in your work and enjoy maintaining clean, safe and hygienic environments, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role
As a School Cleaner, you will:
  • Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Ensure all areas are safe, clean and ready for pupils and staff each day.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures.
  • Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Empty bins, replenish hygiene supplies and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Help maintain a welcoming environment that supports pupils' learning and wellbeing.
About YouWe're looking for someone who:
  • Has previous cleaning experience (school, commercial, healthcare or domestic cleaning is desirable).
  • Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
  • Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Understands the importance of hygiene, safeguarding and confidentiality within a school environment.
RequirementsTo be considered, you must:
  • Be able to provide two years of professional references.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through Smile Education.
  • Have the Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
