Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our warm and nurturing pre-prep school in Camden. This is an exciting opportunity to support children aged 2–5 years as they take their first steps in education, helping them grow, learn, and thrive in a caring and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Contribute to children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through nurturing interactions and well-planned activities.
  • Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
  • Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights and achievements with the teaching team and parents.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting, ideally within a school environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with creativity and enthusiasm for early learning.
  • Passion: A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their early development.
  • Commitment: A positive attitude and dedication to maintaining high standards of care and education.
