Nursery Class Teacher / Room Leader – Camden – ECTs Welcome to Apply
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning experiences for children in the Nursery.
• Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners within the setting.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and early development.
• Work in close partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies to support children’s learning and well-being.
• Use observations and assessments to track progress and plan appropriate next steps for all learners.
• Uphold the school’s values and contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply.
• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A reflective practitioner with a positive and proactive attitude towards professional growth.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a small team effectively.
