Person Specification:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
- Dedicated, professional, and demonstrates strong classroom practice across the primary phase
- Holds a relevant teaching qualification and is an effective and reflective practitioner
- Able to motivate, inspire, and engage pupils of varying abilities
- Passionate about primary education and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Committed to ongoing professional development and contributing to whole-school improvement
- Experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and delivering high-quality lessons
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to inform planning and next steps
- Contribute positively to team planning and collaborative working
- Support whole-school initiatives and uphold the school’s values and expectations
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Promote enrichment opportunities that enhance learning and personal development
