Full-Time | Permanent | QTS Required
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs? Do you have the skills and empathy to support pupils with a wide range of learning profiles? We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking school in London.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced teacher who can plan and deliver high-quality, individualised learning for pupils with diverse needs. You will work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a variety of SEN profiles
  • Support pupils with autism, including understanding sensory needs, communication differences and social development
  • Work with children with a range of additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and learning disabilities
  • Create and implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external agencies
  • Maintain a safe, positive and structured classroom environment
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Strong knowledge of autism and SEN needs
  • Experience working within a specialist or inclusive education setting
  • Excellent communication and behaviour-support skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing
