A well-regarded secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint a qualified and committed Science Teacher to join its established team from September 2025. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and specialism.
The school offers a supportive and collaborative environment, where subject expertise is valued and professional development is actively encouraged. The Science department benefits from well-equipped laboratories, a clear curriculum structure, and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons that support student progress and understanding
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
  • Monitor and assess student achievement in line with school policies
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold PGCE/QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree
  • Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Demonstrate sound subject knowledge and a clear understanding of current curriculum developments
  • Be committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential
  • Offering a second teachable subject would also be beneficial
The school is part of a multi-academy trust with a reputation for academic excellence and staff development. Located in Enfield, the school is easily accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for both staff and students.
