We are an independent alternative provision based in North London, providing education and support for pupils aged 5–16 who benefit from a more personalised approach to learning. • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH, SEN, or disrupted educational backgrounds.
  • Foster curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a love of science among students.
  • Build positive relationships that encourage student confidence, engagement, and resilience.
  • Prepare students for recognised qualifications such as GCSEs or Functional Skills in Science.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct practical experiments safely and effectively, fostering hands-on learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Strong subject knowledge across the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Experience teaching students with additional needs (SEMH, SEN, or non-attenders).
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
Desirable:
  • Experience in alternative provision or small group teaching.
  • Experience preparing students for GCSE or Functional Skills Science.
  • Skills in behaviour management and supporting students with emotional or social challenges.
  • Ability to deliver engaging practical experiments safely.
What We Offer

  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
