About UsWe are an
Alternative Provision school supporting young people who are no longer in mainstream education. Our pupils, aged
KS3–KS4, have a range of
SEN and SEMH needs, and we pride ourselves on providing a supportive, flexible, and nurturing environment where students can rediscover a love for learning and achieve their potential.
Our provision operates across
three sites – with two based in
Enfield and one in
Hertfordshire. While you’ll travel between sites, you’ll only be required to work at one site per day.
About the RoleAs a
Teacher of Maths, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and build confidence in Science across KS3 to KS5. You’ll work with small class sizes and receive strong pastoral and professional support from a dedicated team who share your commitment to inclusive education.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Building positive relationships with students, many of whom have had disrupted educational experiences.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.
- Contributing to a culture of respect, consistency, and high expectations.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Has experience teaching Maths across KS3–KS5 (experience in alternative or SEN settings desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and empathy for young people with SEN/SEMH and additional needs.
- Is flexible, patient, and committed to helping every student achieve success.
