Computer Science Teacher

Enfield, London We’re a forward-thinking, inclusive secondary school in Enfield looking for a Computer Science teacher who enjoys clear explanations, thoughtful problem-solving, and showing students how digital skills shape the world beyond the classroom. You’ll be teaching learners who are curious, practical, sometimes sceptical, and often far more capable than they first realise.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building strong classroom relationships, designing lessons that balance theory with hands-on learning, and helping young people develop confidence in coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
The role includes:- Teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5
- Planning engaging lessons that develop logical thinking and resilience
- Teaching programming, algorithms, and computer systems in accessible ways
- Contributing to a supportive, collaborative department
We’re looking for someone who:- Is a strong classroom practitioner
- Explains complex ideas clearly and patiently
- Values curiosity, independence, and problem-solving
- Enjoys working as part of a thoughtful, hardworking team
- Holds a UK-recognised teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
