An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Geography teacher to join a thriving secondary school on the outskirts of North/East London. This role offers the potential to lead the Geography department, making it ideal for candidates with a proven track record of excellence in teaching and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the Geography curriculum.
Support and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
If appointed as Head of Department: lead the Geography team, oversee curriculum planning, and drive departmental improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching Geography at secondary level.
Strong leadership skills and experience (for Head of Department consideration).
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Alignment with the school's values and ethos.
