About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in London. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially KS5, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about mathematics education and keen to contribute to a supportive and ambitious department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and public examinations
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour through strong classroom management
  • Build positive and productive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Essential Requirements
  • PGCE (or other UK recognised teaching qualification) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS will not be considered
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics across KS3–KS5
  • Proven experience teaching in a London secondary school
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • A commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations
Desirable
  • Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics
  • A track record of strong student outcomes
