West London Provision (W13 Area)

Part-Time or Full-Time (0.5 – 1.0 FTE) | September Start
Are you a creative and passionate Computing Teacher with a love for coding, game design, and engaging young learners through technology?

A forward-thinking alternative provision in West London is seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding setting supporting learners across Key Stage 4 and Post-16, including vocational and alternative pathways.

This role is flexible, offering between 2.5 days to full time, making it suitable for both part-time and full-time applicants.

The Role
As a Computing Teacher, you will:
  • Deliver engaging Computing lessons with a focus on coding and game creation
  • Support students across KS4 and Post-16 pathways
  • Help learners develop digital skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
  • Deliver vocational-style learning linked to real-world outcomes
  • Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
  • Support students working towards qualifications and accreditations
  • Work closely with pastoral staff to support engagement and progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience teaching Computing at secondary level
  • Has strong knowledge of coding (e.g. Python, Scratch, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Has experience or interest in game creation / game design
  • Holds QTS or QTLS (preferred)
  • Can engage learners who may have SEMH or additional learning needs
  • Has strong behaviour management skills
  • Is creative, adaptable, and passionate about digital learning
  • Enjoys working in an alternative, vocational learning environment
