Create Education is recruiting for a
Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in
Newham. This is a full-time, long-term position starting on
Monday 6th July, with the role continuing into the next academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and is looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive school.
The Role- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom.
- Working closely with class teachers and the SEN department to support students' learning and wellbeing.
- Encouraging student engagement, confidence and independence.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate- Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
- A patient, caring and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
