SEN Specialist Teacher - Full Time (SEN Specialist)
Location: B62
Pay: £140 - £200 Per day (Based on experience)
Contract – Full time opportunity Monday– Friday until end of academic year.
 
Are you a professional SEN Teacher looking for a new role or next step in your career? A brilliant opportunity has arisen to Lead a class of SEN students in alternate provision setting in B62 area
 
The Role
 
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching tailored to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Plan and implement personalised learning programmes in line with EHCPs and IEPs.
  • Create a safe, supportive and structured learning environment that promotes positive behaviour.
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress and development.
  • Use differentiated and multi-sensory approaches to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and external professionals.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and parents/carers.
  • Contribute to reviews, meetings and multi-agency planning.
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion always.

Requirements
 


  • Experience working with Autism (minimum 3 months)
  • Qualified teacher status (MUST) (QTS)
  • SEN Teaching experience (minimum 3 months)
  • Professional and caring nature, create a safe and exciting environment
  • Committed to full time – Being reliable (these children are counting on you!)
  • Able to provide a minimum of 2 references cover the past two years. At least one reference should comment on your interaction with children.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education.
  • Previous experience excelling in A alternate provision setting
