If so, a warm and inclusive Church of England primary school in the heart of London is looking for someone just like you to join their team this September as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils with special educational needs feel secure, supported, and successful in their learning.
Your day-to-day will include:

Supporting pupils with EHCPs and additional needs, both in class and in small groups or one-to-one sessions.
Helping children build confidence, develop independence, and stay engaged in their learning.
Working closely with teachers, the SENDCo, and outside professionals to ensure the right strategies and resources are in place.
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation through clear routines and consistent support.
Contributing to planning, monitoring progress, and creating a calm, positive classroom environment.

We’d Love to Hear From You If:

You’ve already supported children with SEN in a school setting.
You’re patient, caring, and adaptable, with a natural ability to build strong relationships with children.
You’re confident in your communication skills and happy to collaborate with others.
You hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, ideally at grade C/4 or above.
You’re committed to safeguarding and child protection, and keen to take part in ongoing training.
