If you’re the kind of teacher who believes every child deserves to feel understood, valued and capable then this could be the role that reminds you why you came into teaching in the first place.
Hi, I’m Ava, an Education Recruitment Consultant at Create Education, and I’m currently working with a genuinely special school in East London. They’re looking for a compassionate, committed teacher to join their specialist provision, someone who wants to do more than just deliver lessons, but truly make a difference to pupils who need that extra support.
This is a school where relationships come first. Where small steps are celebrated, where staff support each other, and where you’re given the time, structure and backing to teach in a way that actually works for your pupils.

The Role
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching within a specialist provision
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of learning, social and emotional needs
  • Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and personal development
  • Create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver effective provision
  • Contribute to individual education plans and EHCP outcomes
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform next steps
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

Who We’re Looking For
  • PGCE and QTS (essential – non-negotiable)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN or within a specialist provision is highly desirable
  • Primary-trained teachers are very welcome to apply
  • A patient, resilient and reflective approach to teaching
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Why Join This School?
This isn’t just another teaching role. It’s a chance to be part of a setting where you’ll feel supported, appreciated and able to do your job properly.
  • A leadership team that genuinely listens and supports their staff
  • A welcoming, collaborative team where everyone works together
  • A clear, well-structured specialist curriculum
  • Ongoing CPD and opportunities to develop your SEN expertise
  • A role where you can see the impact you’re making every single day
If you’re a Specialist Provision Teacher looking for a role where you can really connect with your pupils and feel supported in what you do, I’d love to speak with you and share more. Email me your CV over to [email protected].

We are committed to safeguarding children. Each applicant will be expected to undertake compliance checks including Prohibited list, Barred list, DBS and Qualifications.
