We’re working with a welcoming primary school in the heart of
Southwark that is seeking a dedicated
Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant to join their team. You’ll work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide tailored support that helps improve pupil attainment and assists those who may struggle to engage or make progress in the classroom.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role suited to someone patient, resilient, and ready to help children build confidence, independence, and self-belief.

Your Role- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
- Help children develop emotional regulation, communication skills, and confidence through structured and creative activities.
- Support classroom learning and promote calm, positive environments that encourage engagement and progress.
- Build trusting relationships that help children feel safe, understood, and valued.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and the wider inclusion team to track and celebrate progress.
What We’re Looking For- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grades 4–9).
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behaviour, or additional needs.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing behaviour.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a lasting difference.
