About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology graduate looking to work as a Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, particularly for those considering a future career in educational psychology, teaching, or child development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who may require additional support
  • Assist students with a range of needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
  • Help create a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Observe and report on student progress and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
  • A degree in Psychology (or related field)
  • A genuine interest in working with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
  • Experience working with children or young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
  • Interest in educational or clinical psychology
  • Understanding of SEN (Special Educational Needs)
