Do you have a strong command of Spanish and want to make a difference in a diverse and inclusive school environment?
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in a vibrant school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and a commitment to helping every child succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational, emotional, and social development.
Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Offer one-on-one or small group support as required.
Act as a communication bridge for Spanish-speaking pupils and families, ensuring inclusivity and understanding.
Assist in creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written) is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach to working with children.
Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
